CANADA WORK PERMIT VISA

A Canada Work Permit, sometimes known as a Work Visa, is a document that allows qualifying foreign nationals to work in Canada for a set length of time.
Only after receiving a work offer or an employment contract from a Canadian company may people apply for a Work Visa. The company must acquire an LMIA (Labour Market Impact Assessment) from ESDC (Employment and Social Development Canada), which allows them to hire foreign skilled employees for jobs that cannot be performed by Canadian citizens or permanent residents.
Canada, being one of the world’s most developed economies, is an excellent place to work if you want to travel. The Canadian Work Permit Visa permits business individuals to work in Canada on a permanent basis.

DETAILS OF THE CANADA WORK PERMIT VISA:

Every year, more than 300,000 people are given work permits in Canada. For international employees wanting a better life, this is a significant opportunity. You can do the following with a Canada Work Permit Visa:
  • Work for the employer you listed on your work permit application in Canada.

  • Possess the capability to apply for Dependent Visas in order to contact your family members.

  • Earn money in dollars.

  • Cross-Canada travel

  • Later, you can apply for a permanent residency visa.

ELIGIBILITY FOR CANADA WORK PERMIT VISA:

Applicants must provide proof that they are qualified to accept the job offer. You must fulfil specific conditions to apply for a Canada Work Permit from India .Documents need to be submitted in English.

Temporary employees, international graduates from Canadian institutions, businesses, and anyone who need to work in Canada will benefit from the Canada Work Permit Visa.

REQUIREMENTS FOR GENERAL ELIGIBILITY

  • Provide proof to an officer that you will leave Canada when your Work Permit expires.

  • Have documentation proving that you and your family will be able to support themselves and their families throughout your stay in Canada.

  • Have no criminal history and provide a police clearance certificate as proof.

  • Are not a security threat to Canada

  • Must be in good health and willing to undergo a medical examination if necessary.

  • Have no intention of working for an employer who has been deemed ineligible by the government due to a failure to meet specific requirements.

  • Have no intention of working for a company that provides sexual dancing, escort services, striptease, or erotic treatments.

  • To qualify for entrance to Canada, you must be prepared to produce any documentation requested by police.

  • Two passport-sized photos taken recently

  • Certificates of educational attainment

Different types of work permits:

Canadian authorities provide two types of work permits: open work permits and employer-specific work permits. You can work for any employer if you have an open work permit. Because this visa is not job-specific, applicants do not need to submit a Labor Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) or a letter of employment from a company that has paid the compliance fee.
You can work for any employer in Canada with an open work visa, save for those who do not follow labour laws or provide services such as escort services, sensual massage, or exotic dance.
As the name implies, an employer-specific work permit permits you to work for a single company.
While an employer-specific work permit is limited to a single employer, an open work permit may be subject to requirements that are specified on the permit. These are some of them:
  • Type of work

  • Areas where you'd be able to work

  • Work timeline

Holders of the following visas can apply for an Open Work Permit:

  • Temporary Work Permits for spouses

  • Post-Graduation Work Permit

  • Temporary Resident Permit

  • World Youth Program Permit

  • Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program Spousal Permit

  • Regular Open Work Permit

  • Bridging Open Work Permit

Conditions for the open work permit:

  • Proof of financial resources to support you and your family's stay in Canada for the duration of your work visa.

  • Proof that you have never been convicted of a crime

  • You must provide proof that you are in fine health

  • Willingness to follow the terms of your work permit, even if it is just for a limited time.

  • Meet the requirements for qualifying, which include language skills, biometric data, and insurance.

DEPENDENT WORK VISA

The Canadian government permits family members to immigrate under the dependant work visa category.
